No problem. Just be safe and test everything out at ground level!

I know what you mean about spending the cash experimenting then spending more to purchase the "right" thing.
I am condemned to that scenario. I usually spend more trying to "do it my way" than just going ahead and buy the dad burned thing.
I am actually leaning towards Guidos Web right now. Everytime I sit on a small platform in a tree somewhere, I think to my self; man I'd much rather be facing the tree than leaning against it. Don't know why I haven't done something about it waaaaaay before now.
Any how, I got this old Big Game harness that looks like I can do some experimenting with. Just sew on a couple of straps with good loops on them and I might be able to duplicate Guidos Web for a lot less. Of course, it won't be as slick as Guidos, but maybe I can learn if I like it as much as I hope I think I will. I really can't afford to drop the ;$335 right now. Maybe in a month or so. I think I can experiment for just a few $$$$$. I already have a Speedy stich and I have sewn quite a few leather items with it. Just need about 20' of good webbing. I scrounged up a few sliders/buckles from a couple of old cheap gimme harness that came with some old stands.
Thanks for you insight.
