Funny thing how I found out about saddle hunting I was in between jobs this summer and decided to start looking into lighter weight more versatile ways of climbing trees.
While looking into different types of strap on steps I came across a video of Boudreaux Boswell and wondered hmm what is this saddle thing he has going on. I then proceeded to watch almost every video he has on YouTube then really started looking into saddle hunting I watched a lot of videos from G2 outdoors, wild edge, and the DIY sportsman. All of these guys played a very crucial part in the decision for me to go into Saddle hunting. From the beginning I was very interested in the Kestral so that is what I went with and I have been hooked ever since shortly before I received my saddle I found out about John Eberhart a fellow Michigander and started watching a bunch of his videos and listening to podcasts I then contacted John Eberhart and left him a message asking to pick his brain on the saddle set up he contacted me back and we talked for a little while he gave me some tips and tricks and emailed me some information on saddle set up and scent control I will say the saddle hunting family is a great family and I would personally like to thank all of these guys for their videos and inspiration.
