How long does everyone stay in the saddle? When I was young I could sit all day now I get cold and quit. Usually three to four hours. What about you?

I sat in it for 5 hours this morning. The hip pinch is killing me in my mantis. I have tried all sorts of adjustments but it keeps coming back. In a lock on,climber, or ladder I can do all day without issue.

I can’t sit all day unless I’m covered up in deer. I rarely have the opportunity to hunt all day but when I do I will usually hunt at least three spots. I may climb down mid morning and ease a little closer to bedding. Especially during the rut. I may hunt trails between feeding and bedding areas then move closer to the bedding area mid morning on the downwind side. Just hoping to kill one cruising for does. Then I will move again and eat lunch around two. Then back at it for an evening setup.

I always sit until mid day unless there was zero activity. When that happens I try to use the saddle like I intended when I started saddle hunting and move to a different location. If I move I will probably stay until dark.

I routinely do all day sits. Sunday was a planned all day sit until I shot my buck at 2:30. I did get down and relocate to be closer to where the action was though.
