How Many Ameristeps?

I always used 5 but doubled up my main outside steps and had a single mid step to push off of
so basically 3 steps but used 5 to make my main steps wider.

In the end 3 positions seems all you need to make your shots. 3, 6 and 9 oclock, rest is just for comfort

That’s what I found most comfortable. I’d use top of my stick plus a step & the other 2 a little closer together. Basically 3 big steps ( I wear sz 15 & need all the help I can get)
 
4...and I wish I had a 5th one.

Anybody have a single step they would be willing to part $$ with???
