Hss bow and gear hoist

FYI you're gonna get a million "Doyle's Rules" responses.
I have the HSS and love it. It's 3 ounces vs a pound. I drilled a few extra holes and zip tied it to the back of my saddle so it feels like its built in. Just reach back with one hand and reel it up.
I haven't had any issues with it.
I used a muddy retractable and that thing was junk.

Paracord wrapped in a figure 8, light, simple, and fits in my pocket. I have to laugh at these hoist posts every time. Not because you use them, but because I have seen the same guys on here quibbling about shedding 4 ounces of weight and then turn around and carry one of these behemoths.

I have one and like it as well. A lot more packable than all other hoists. It’s only noisy if you wind it up fast. Can fit in your front pocket.

Guess I’m going to have to look up the figure 8. I’ve always used para cord wrapped on a stick. But was liking the idea of the hoist because it would eliminate the pile of cord on the ground when I start the climb, which can sometimes get tangled in brush and branches.
