Hunter rescued after getting stuck upside down in tree stand

Did he fall out trying to transfer from one climber to another? Sorry if someone pointed this out...

I noticed that too. Looks like some kinda odd redneck setup maybe?
 
It looks like the two halves of a climber. Crossbars on the bottom half suggest Summit. Not sure what's up with the crossbars on the upper half; could be an improvised webbing seat to use while ascending. Looks like gear bags on the upper unit. Story doesn't suggest at what point the picture was taken; if it's mid-rescue some of what's visible could be from the rescue efforts. Could be they used another climber to get to him, the story did say there weren't any good anchors.
