How many of you guys hunt from your saddle during the snow especially a wet snow. My concerns would be ripe or rope man 1 freezing. Is it safe? I generally like to hunt during the snow.

I love to hunt in the snow too. I’m new at this so I think I’ll just whimp out and take the ground blind. I haven’t gon in the rain yet either…….following this one

I have an old rubber like cone from work that I slide on my rope when it’s raining and cold or snowing to keep it off my kong duck as I’m hanging. Almost like a small rubber funnel. It was fairly thick tho so pretty rigid

I love to hunt in the snow and cold here in MT. No problems yet. However I always have a stopper knot below my Ropeman or friction knot.

Well thanks guys for the input. Still not sure how I feel about it so maybe I just wait till snow stops or the snow is real lite with no chance is freezing rain.
Merry Christmas and happy new year
