Hey everyone, I'm trying to find a pack that I can attach climbing sticks to quickly and easily. I'm running 4 Muddy Pro Sticks. What is everyone here using?

I like my Horn Hunter G2. Very capable and won't break the bank. Plenty of places to attach just about anything. Quiet material, but loud zippers. The deer probably don't care as much about that as I do.

I have been on the hunt for “THE PACK”. For years, it is kinda like finding a unicorn, seeing Elvis, and roping Roudolph all rolled into one. The highest quality pack I have found is the Eberlestock x2, but Badlands has the best warranty. The drawback with the x2 is the lack of smaller pockets. If you find your unicorn please let me know!

I sewed a canvas bag to sling over my shoulder that carries four heliums. Just wear a small sling bag for gear. Like it better than a large pack.

You don’t like the x2? I think I’m going to end up with an early/ mid season pack and late season pack.

I’ve tried no less than two dozen packs/ways t get crap in the woods. The pop up is the lead dog for me by a wide margin. And it looks like they’ve improved it significantly this year. I won’t upgrade because I’m quite happy with the one I have.

count me in on the search for the unicorn. there are SO many packs that i like. i've bought and returned countless packs. if i could combine features of 2 or 3 different packs into one, i'd have it. anyhow, when i was using sticks, (cut heliums) i could carry them on the bedroll straps under my pack. worked fairly well.

What else are you looking to carry? I have at least 3 packs that I use to carry sticks and which one I use depends on how much other gear that I need to put inside on that particular hunt.

Which pop up are you running? The 18 is top of my list for this year. my thoughts are it has enough of a bag to carry what I need for most of the season and scouting, anything else I can strap on top of the bag and to the frame..

Alps Pursuit. Affordable, I dig the shelf for when I’m in the tree, waistbelt is removable, bow holder works well, my predator and spurs fit inside, my mod’d hawk helium’s almost fit inside or they strap down nicely outside with the compression straps, carries a heavy load well and it’s quiet. I like it a lot. I wish it were more durable. It’s got some rips and tears after two seasons but it’s holding up pretty well. Definitely made with a bow hunter in mind and it’s not too big but definitely big enough for both early and late season gear.

I have the 28. I subscribe to the "get a bag slightly bigger than you need, and cinch down the leftover space with compression straps" mentality.

And I'll second @Patriot on the pursuit. It's a great priced pack that did a lot of what I needed. I even packed a deboned deer out in it. Don't let the price fool you, it's a good one.

Camofire has pop up 18 and pursuit along with several other alps and mystery ranch packs on sale today, think biggest pop up 18 was a medium though

The x2 does not have alot of small pockets yes but on the flip side it has alot of molle webbing that you can attach a variety of small pouches if you needed to
