My last gear order was placed on 12/29/19. Tomorrow is 2/1/20. Which means I have gone a whole month without spending any money on saddle hunting gear. I call that success. I have to be honest and admit I do have items in my cart from @DanO just waiting till tomorrow to hit “submit”.

LOL. Lucky for you. January I have done pretty well for saddle gear as I sold my Mantis and only bought a tactical vest for a few bucks that I plan on using for early season. So I am actually ahead. Hunting gear though January has been really bad. I bought a bow, artic body suit, arrows, and several other small things. Feb will be bad again if the Phantom gets released on time.

And I thought I was having a hard time, I think I did pretty good, I only got some AmSteel and carabiners.

Oh yeah, and some fleece pants... and a jacket...and an SD card case... and some paracord... and a hammock and rain fly....Dang It!

The addiction has just started for me, it’s so bad I had to cancel my prairiedog hunt. Bought a gas truck to save miles on my diesel, bought a new bow to replace my 13 yr old bow, have a jx3 on order and impatiently waiting on and a set of WE steps hanging on the tree now to stretch the ropes. Hopefully if I go ahead and get the spending out of the way now I’ll be able to set back and just enjoy the summer and fall. HaHa!

Never gonna work..........

I need to increase the size of my garage to store all my saddle gear, packs and sewing gear (leather and camo exclusively of course).

It’s at the point where I can’t hide it all from the wife! It’s everywhere lol I do sell a lot of it after I test it out but I buy more than I sell that’s for sure !

Wish I could sell what I am not using!!! I always tell myself I will use it again one day!!!

My accountant would like to thank the saddle and gear companies and their long shipping times. It's the only thing that saved me from myself this year. I don't know how many times I read a review on this site and decided, yeah I need that. I'd get the thing in my cart ready to buy and then decide not to because I wouldn't get the item until either real late in the season or after our season was over. Amazon Prime has spoiled me.

I gave my Trophyline saddle away after the first year getting busted in a saddle. It sat in my buddies garage for 2 years then I snagged it back after watching Boudreaux Boswell on youtube. After I made up my mind to get proficient with it, I have been saddle hunting since. I did however gift the original Trophyline to my wife’s cousin who now hunts with it.
