C456ECBF-F2A1-4133-9D3F-94D54F14AD41.pngHi everyone, I am new to saddle hunting and trying to build a sit drag saddle. How long is a bridge? Other than ameristeel what can I use? I may order some but seems like 4’ of 1/4” line is hard to find. Also can I use prusic knots rather than buying a ascender?
 
I used 1" climbing spec tubular webbing for my bridge. I think 20" - 30" is normal. Mine is about 22". Prusik knots work fine, make sure you tie a stopper knot at the end of the tether.
 
I make mine 26”. I sell amsteel by the foot and can custom make whatever you need as well
