I killed some deer years ago with the Atom broad head. I really liked them and would probably still use them if I could find some.

BTW, [mention]kyler1945 [/mention] turned me on to your method of using bolts on one side with a moveable Aider. I have been using a modified version of the Aider the last few weeks and really like it.

That atom broadhead is wild. I had to google it, never heard of it. Who in their right mind would launch one of those gadgets at a living deer?

Sure beats me. If it had been a regular head it would have easily killed him. I don’t think that blade design lends itself to good penetration at all!

It was stuck in there really good but I got a pic after I got it out. The lung had literally grown around it. Wild!

Definitely not an Atom broadlead. I killed several deer with Atoms and never lost a deer when shooting them.
