Welcome from the northern lower peninsula.
Finding the climbing method that works for you is more than half the battle. I was in the same boat as you last year. I ended up buying and trying many methods before I found methods that I like. I wanted something that wasn't much more time consuming or required much more effort than I had with the climber but it had to be compact and quiet.
Personally I plan on using a combination of Wildedge stepps with the knaider/aider or a single modified hawk helium with an aider for the most part this year. I bought some Climb Rights and will be using those on my private sits but they're not allowed on the public land here. Fortunately (or unfortunately) there's a lot of options out there for climbing and the best you can do is find a way to try them and find the right solution for you.
