Hey guys, new to the site, but have lurked for awhile. Building my homemade sit drag as we speak, but wanted to see what other have made as a homemade saddle platform. I know of the common use of hang-on seats, but has anyone built a platform from scratch? I don't have access to welding, but have thought of some types of aluminum designs might work in the same capacity as an the xop platform but with the seat being homemade.

You’ll find threads on here going back over years. The platforms have been evolving. Check out the Predator platform on Tethrdnation.com

It is the latest design and looks to be the best combination of lightweight, easy to set up, stable from multiple angles of shooting, & affordable.
