If you had any doubts about safety...

That is an awesome video! Just show's you how safe you are in the saddle. My favorite climbing system is the LW hand climber seat. Twice now I've hooked the locking mechanism with my foot and opened it up dropping my platform from under me. My saddle held me where I was and my lifeline to my platform stopped the platform from getting out of reach. I just pulled it up and reset it. You can't do that with a treestand and safety harness!

Yeah I posted this on another post don’t remember where. I’ve had my wife watch it a couple times lol. She’s still not convinced OH WELL

Great video. Ill for sure have to show it to the woman, still probably wont be convinced though.
Didn’t tell my wife that I pulled the trigger on the Kestrel, but I did tell her I was thinking about it. She‘s probably not concerned; I teach martial arts, have had three or four (can’t remember lol) serious head traumas, not to mention that she barely sniffed when I almost got muzzle-loaded on public land by some clown who aimed at my Montana decoy and didn’t see me wearing blaze orange 5 yds away on the ground (true story, but at least my decoy passed the test). Saddle vs treestand? To her it’s just her husband getting into another risky business. She probably would understand the safety benefits of a saddle to be honest.
