Im hunting with a friend all week and see the weather report. Screen shot attached below. Will this warm weather screw us up here in Illinois? First time here near Colchester IL. I know my deer don’t really get moving unless it’s under 60 or so this time of year.

It's going to be warm until Saturday and 45 Friday night should break them loose and will probably start some major chasing activity. I live about 25 miles from Colchester. With the rut coming on they will be out moving all week anyway. You should be good if you can stand a few showers.

I saw 2 good bucks this weekend and they both were checking does. It'll only get more rusty as the week progresses. Warm weather won't help but anything can happen at anytime. Be ready, hunt hard if it's the only time you have.

Just moved a couple of days of vacay due to the temps and rain latter this week. Dang near 90 here today. If I see the weatherman I gotta mind to kick him square in the ball, no way he has a pair.

Saw this guy at sixty yards semi chasing a doe that walked right under me. He didn't want to commit and walked off. And now I fly back to the heatwave that screwed me this week here in Illinois. Tag sammy with spicy mustard.
