Importing into Canada (Duties and fees) Question

I’d go for the 2A if we could get the US to get on the universal free healthcare bandwagon lol

My child, now 23 and perfectly fine, was born with birth defects in both kidneys. His pediatric nephrologist was a great man with an equal to greater reputation as a doctor had moved down here from Canada so he could send patients to Dr Woodard at Eggleston Children’s hospital at Emory University. We had a couple of talks about Canada’s healthcare system and generally he approved of it, but his problem with it was he couldn’t get the patients with severe cases to the best doctors.

A lot of that depends on where you live and who your GP is. I would agree that people with money should be able to pay for as long as it doesn’t take away from the public system. If I pay for an MRI it should help pay for free ones for people willing to wait on a list

Just keep in mind if you NEED an MRI etc today to save your life they will do it right away. It’s people with non critical illnesses that end up waiting a couple of months.

My son is a doc. I could list plus and minuses of both systems. But no point. Two great countries. We do live longer. Not sure why?
Must be the weather

We should stick to the topic. Hunting Stuff is cheaper in the states. That is why America is great

I’m just making conversation. I’ve never lived in the Canadian system so I have no opinion good or bad
