In-line Muzzleloader rec?

I have the stainless/camo wolf, no complaints. It kills deer. It's the shortest and lightest CVA other than a pistol if I remember right.

I have a CVA and happy with it. Unless you have a decent budget, it’s hard to beat the value of the CVAs. I also agree with the upgrade in breech plug. I use the federal borelok bullets but limited in what I can use here in Colorado.

CVA Optima V2 with thumbhole stock... Change the breach plug to use BH209. Mine shoots MOA with no issues.

Same thing I’ve got. With BH209, I’ve shot multiple groups at 3/4”. I love mine. I don’t see the need to splurge for anything “higher grade” personally.

T/C Encore
T/C Omega
CVA Accura PR

The family lineup. They all drive tacks.

We also have Hawkens and a Fire Storm for real muzzleloaders.

Traditions Nitrofire - safest, cleanest, easiest to use muzzleloader on the market. I bought one last year as my first muzzleloader.

Only issue is that they’re not legal during muzzleloader season in some states. You can only use them for firearms season in Indiana.

Electronic ignition?

looks like a regular 209 primer, and rebounding hammer, so that's not it.

It has to do with powder loaded not from the muzzle (breach loading the powder stick)

Nice. I'm not sure why it's safest, but it sure seems easy. I forgot that my older brother has a Traditions. It drives tacks too.

This one is a bit pricier, :grimacing:, but they claim sub-MOA to 500yds:)

There's some other custom makers, like:

I seem to remember one in CT but forgot the name.
