in my back yard

I'm in SE PA and my next door neighbor told me yesterday he has seen deer in his back yard. They jump over a 5 foot high gate into his fenced in yard. I remember years ago, tracking deer up to a 6 foot high fence with dirt on both sides. The tracks went up to the fence then appeared on the other side with no other tracks around. Apparently this is an easy jump for them.

this was in my fenced in back yard with only a gate open in the middle of town.View attachment 29053

Awesome. I can’t tell you how many deer I see in town here compared to where I live out in the middle of the corn fields. They might as well live in houses or apartments in town they’re in there roaming around so much it seems.

Haha! I need to dig up the pic I took years ago of a HUGE muley buck in Colorado Springs. Suburban neighborhood near a high school. That monster was camped out across the street under a tree like he didn't have a care in the world.

@Ranger53 make sure you get some hang time in the yard and work your way up to hunting hight as you get comfortable. Last year was my first year. There was some pucker factor the first few times in the yard but it wears off quick.

You’re going to love it. Nothing better.
