Inexpensive movable target

I made one out of those interlocking foam floor mats. I used the cheapest ones from home depot ($20)and cut them in half and then stacked them between two boards like this:

I didn't do mine quite as tall, but it's worked good thru a lot of arrows. What' nice is when an area starts to get too worn out, I can just move the worn out pieces to the top or bottom of the stack and put less worn out ones in the middle. And when it gets real bad, another $20 and I can swap in fresh layers pretty easily. Swamp and Stomp did a similar build too, and it's worked great. I do like the wagon wheels above, now I may need to do a modification to mine!
I'm doing the same thing with Harbor Freight puzzle mats. Seems the HF ones are both cheaper and larger. Mine isn't done, but I'm incorporating both legs and a roof, but now I'm thinking to change that to either wheels or skids.

Nice! I may make the switch to those now that a HF is opening near me. They're about a dollar cheaper per tile at HF as compared to the HD ones.

I get conveyor belt from work once in a while 3/4"-1" thick I guess. You will NOT shoot through it, and doubt a 22 LR would pass through at point blank range. I use as a backstop.

I would look to see if you have any places that have heavy conveyor belts in your area that you could get some scrap from ?

If you buy a whole box you get them 30% cheaper as well! I made one with 2 boxes of HF mats, got about 4" high! 90$.
Edit: lol 4' not just 4 inches....
