This is my favorite so far this season
This spring (2019) I scouted some knock on doors for permission properties for Jeff and he knocked it out of the park this fall with his biggest 2 bow kills and he hunts with a 1972 Bear recurve bow at 170 fps.
Jeff lost permission prior to the season opener on the best property we scouted and it was awesome and was all dense bedding area surrounded by crop fields.
On another property was a small open woodlot that was also surrounded by crop fields and the only time it would be worth hunting was when the bordering fields were in standing corn as the open woodlot would become a transition zone from field to field. Well this year it was surrounded by standing corn and Jeff took these 2 bucks on the same day.
Congratulations Jeff, 2 great bucks with a 47 year old Bear recurve!!!!!!!!!!!
