Stumbled across this video on Jerry Simmons and the history of the "Peckerwood" drill . Some really cool old stories that show how good we have it with the equipment of today.

Sounds like listening to my granddaddy and kinfolk! They’re sure enough some Alabamian/Mississippians. I’m surprised I didn’t hear a roll tide in there And though my mom’s a yankee at heart she’s practically a certified southerner after 32+ years in south alabama. Sounds like mom asking questions entirely too loud in the back ground trying to explain stuff. HahaStumbled across this video on Jerry Simmons and the history of the "Peckerwood" drill . Who knew the woodpecker drill and Simmons treesharks were some alabama boy’s huntin concoctions! Some neat pieces of hunting history.
