No joke.....my father has a friend who owns couple hundred acres...dad and I went out there to go tag along on a quail hunt. We walked over a hill and there was a 10ft tall camel. It took off and everybody was like W T F?....hahaha. the look on everybody's face was priceless


.....the nextdoor property is owned by an amusement park and they keep some exotic animals. Camel found a hole in the fence. They are really big up close in person
 
My wife gets super embarrassed when I tell this story so I may as well tell u guys.
Same property a different trip and wifey and I are riding around...she's on a 4wheeler and I'm following in a side by side. The camel is at the fence so we stop and she starts feeding it random things she's picking up....the camel is on a higher elevation than we are so it really really looks huge. The camel starts making this crazy noise and my wife runs away as fast as I've ever seen her move scared to death.....the noise the camel is making is building up and finally it let's out a huge burp. I admit that I was a little unnerved when it started making that crazy noise but she was gone so fast like true fight or flight primal response....she will never ever ever live it down
