Hello everyone,

I'm considering getting into an industrial machine. Anyone have input on these two machines? I know the 1541 is a much more capable machine, but is it overkill? I don't see myself going much beyond saddle making in terms of sewing thick materials. I would like to be able to sew some leather occasionally.
I know neither of these machines will be great for lighter materials, I have a singer 15-91 for that. But will the 1181 be able to sew lighter fabrics more successfully than the 1541?
Lastly where are you all buying your machines from? I know I'm going to have to pay for freight, but any suggestions for somewhere with great service in the case I happen to need it?
