Well, I'm going to give this saddle hunting another shot. Last year I bought a New Tribe Walkabout with the rope bridge and some muddy sticks and tried saddle hunting for the first time ever. I loved the concept and the mobility factor. But just could not get comfy in the darn thing. I belong to AT as well and the forum there was a big help, but no matter what I did I just couldn't get it.
So I sold it and bought a Summit Viper. Well, this past week I traded it for a TLTSaddle. Which is what I really wanted last year, but they were selling for ridiculous money and I picked up the walkabout for cheap. Would like to try the Evolution, but will wait to see I there will be anymore changes as it seems to be "evolving".
Now I'm back to the climbing stick dilemma! Sold the muddy's and have been looking at the 17" leverage, I just don't know which ones to go with this time??....sorry for the long post.

Welcome back to saddle hunting! I think a tree saddle or evolution is a great choice. I use lone wolf climbing sticks but I'm always looking for better ways to climb the tree. Let us know if you have any questions as you get back into saddle hunting!
