Hey guys, first post. Can anyone comment on the true capabilities of the JX3 in regards to packing a large 200-250# deer out? Where we hunt we can be anywhere from 3/4 to 2 miles from the truck at any given time. Thanks ahead of time

Here is 35 pages that should answer any questions you have.

I hauled 110+ about 1.5 miles. It sucked. If I had deboned it would’ve been slightly better but still sucked. But 100+lbs is gonna suck no matter what. Load lifters on them now will help, and so would adding one of the battle belts to it if you’re planning on hauling that much meat.

Look, you won’t find a bigger JX3 fan than me. But if I’m gonna have to pack out 100+lbs, on regular occasion, I’m bringing my Kifaru frame and stashing it in the woods. For a once a year occasion, I’ll gladly toss 100lbs in there.

I read that, and it was a great review. Just looking for more input. I agree kyler1945, 100# is a lot no matter what. Knowing it's perfectly capable of doing it is what I was hoping to hear. I don't mind making two trips with 50-75#. 100# is slot. Did it once and it was a challenge!

Guys sure like to take risks with important joints.

If I was gonna do it on the regular I’d probably add a padded hip belt & load lifters...... but it will sure do it in a pinch no problem bone stock!
