I'm starting to use a klemheist and have been enjoying it. I used a 150cm cord to tie it, I think shorter might make adjusting it easier. I am tending it by running the rope back through the biner if that helps. I'm going to adjust what I already have tied, just curious if anyone else had a preference.

I like mine so it's just at arms lenght when weighted. Easy to grab, but not likely to grab it by mistake. I like to leave a little extra in the loop section as well so that if it is rainy/cold/icy I can add another wrap or 2 to the knot itself for more friction if needed.

I have enough length to add 2 wraps if needed. I didn't even consider ice... I should move back to the south lol

Your video is actually what kept me from ordering a ropeman, so thanks for that!

If you zoom in to my picture that's a klemheist on my tether. I'm trying it on my lineman's and tether currently.
