Knee protection.

I have a pair of Arc'teryx and do like them but I saw a youtube video the other day and this guy had the idea of sewing a pocket inside his pants where your knees are and he slides a football knee pad in the. Very cool idea and knee pads are cheap at academy sports. You can pull them out and wash them.
 
I have the Arc'teryx and original Trophyline. After a half-dozen test climbs with each, I went with the Trophyline. Biggest reason is the grip on the tree when single sticking. Have sat through a few dozen hunts now, and very happy with the choice.
