Looks like a very nice upgrade. Particularly the magnets. But god I hated my latitude. I'm 6ft 174 and I found it to be the most uncomfortable saddle I've ever used. Brutal hip pinch no matter what adjustments I made. And while these problems are inherent to every saddle, changing clothes and using a hand muff was extremely annoying. Almost every problem I had went away as soon as I switched to the XC

I got one on order. I loved the original but would of liked it to be alittle bigger. So the XL is a win for me plus the other small upgrades. Can't wait to give it a try.

I had a method. I wanted a bigger drop down lower section. Doesn't look any bigger. Price tag got bigger. Seems to be the trend on saddles.
And no cobra buckle option so less overhead expense... did the price tag really go up? I haven’t looked....

I'm a little surprised there isn't more buzz about this saddle.

I made the mistake of logging onto SH last night halfway through my second IPA and came across this thread.

My Method 2 should be here Monday. I can't wait to be torn between it and the Archon

I'm a little surprised there isn't more buzz about this saddle.

I'm a saddle newb who gets most of my Dopamine from clicking the buy button on any new gadget or gizmo that catches my attention
So, when I decided to try and lighten up my 35lb mobile hunting setup, I nerded out for weeks consuming anything I could regarding the latest and greatest saddle gear.

finally, I ended up with a Cruzr Archon and I promised myself that the search was over, and I could be confident in my decision.

alas, I made the mistake of logging onto SH last night halfway through my second IPA and came across this thread.

My Method 2 should be here Monday. I can't wait to be torn between it and the Archon.

maybe, despite my limited saddle experience, I'll be able to offer even just a little bit of insight in comparing the two.

But I'm hoping some of you all are expecting to try out this saddle and I look forward to hearing your opinions on it.

thanks for reading
Looking forward to your comparison!

Looks like they addressed a lot of the complaints I had with the method. Good on them.

That’s what the guys at latitude told me. Even if you are smaller than the waist cutoff but are concerned about maximum comfort get the xl because it has a bigger cup. I am a bit under but near the waist size cutoff though so I’m not sure how it will work out if you are well under the 36” cutoff.

Seems to be about phantom size in the bottom panel probably not exactly but similar in size. I took it for a quick sit before work. Took a minute to get it set right but the panel size definitely makes a difference.

With the old method it was super comfy with just a small gap in the panels for me. With the new one looks like I will be running top panel right in the small of the back and bottom panel alittle lower then I was before. Puts bridge loops at the perfect spot to rest elbows on with about a eye level tether.

The magnets are nice and quiet. Bridge is nice gonna take some working in pretty tight yet. The little thumb grabs work great to clip your phone into while playing around in the yard. I didn't try the leg straps yet. But they definitely have alot bigger opening then the old ones I will probably only use them when I am using the beast stand.

Think I am finally done buying saddles. Gonna keep this one. Nice job Latitude.

Functionally there are no issues running the larger size even if you have a slimmer frame so if comfort for all day sits is your thing and what makes you successful as a hunter then it should work great. Saddles are tools to help make memories of fun times so we had to have that option.

You won’t run out of real estate tightening down the waist belt or anything like that if that is a concern. The listed waist sizes are just guidelines to start with, but unlike pants the larger size will still work on a smaller frame and vice versa from a functionality standpoint. Hope that helps! Thank you for considering our stuff!

I have never saddle hunted this will be my first year. I have a cruzr and a covert lite. Now i really want to try the method 2, i was leaning towards the smaller size i am a 36- 37 waist and thought that the smaller one would fit tighter for longer hikes in, am i correct in thinking this? I didnt want the baggy feeling of my cruzr xc
