Latitude Method. Any users?

How do you feel about this saddle after a season?

Got my Latitude Method in today (metal free version). Sat in it for about 15 minutes. I think I'm going to like the 2 panel system!! I did have a hard time with the bridge being too tight (out of the box) to move up and down through the prusik......it did get easier after sliding it a couple of times. I thought I was going to have to hook it up to the truck bumper and winch to get it to move! I've had several saddles: Kestrel Flex, Mantis, Phantom, JX3 and "backwoods" sit drag for comparison.

Too early to say if it is the "BEST", but I think I will really like this one due to the two panels, being metal free, and the oplux bridge/waist belt.......those are simply AWESOME! Great job Latitude!

Have fun and be safe!

How do you feel about this saddle after a season?

Just ordered the metal free method. Looks like this is far superior to any saddle currently on the market. I’m currently using a Mantis and older trophyline. Anyone have experience with this one?

I just hunted a 3.5 month season in the no metal one. Worked great. Comfortable more than I thought. I one stick and rapell on oplex and madrock safeguard with auto block.

I ordered a method back on Black Friday. I finally had a moment to hang in it. My first impression was didn't feel much different than my kestrel. I got a 40" waist and the little bit I was in it, didn't feel small. I didn't get to spend an extended amount of time in it yet. But the big reason I got it was for the walking part. I hate walking in my kestrel. Constantly adjusting it. Can't wait to spend some more time in it. Am I officially a saddle Hunter now that I own more than 1??

@Shakeandbake see you eventually ordered one, and then now your selling it? Not your cup of tea? Just curious.
It’s real comfortable, probably just as comfortable as my old flex. If I’m keeping one it’s the old flex because of the mods I already made to the flex. Trying to raise some funds for a new bow. If I didn’t need the money I would keep it. Too many toys haha

TTT. Looking for more feedback from the guys who have hunted with their Method for a season.

I didn't hunt it for the season but I gave it a good try before I had to move in another direction. As others have mentioned it was just too small for my 36" waist. If they make a bigger one I will 100% buy it. The idea and function are outstanding but the size was all wrong for me.

I used a Method for a good majority of the season. I’m a 34 waist and it seemed to fit fine. It was my first two panel saddle and it was leaps and bounds more comfortable than either of my two previous single panel saddles. I liked that I could overlap the panels and I usually forgot I was wearing it on my long walks in or extended scouting trips. I didn’t like that the bottom panel would just fall down if I took my weight off the saddle to readjust.

I’ve had a Kestrel, Mantis, Kestrel Flex, and the Method. The Method is my favorite so far. I like the adjustability with it and how it wears walking in and out. I use to use a back band and I don’t need it for this one. It also gives great back support if you have a bad back. I did have to put epoxy on the clips for the panels. I ended up losing one climbing up the tree and I couldn’t find it because of all of the leaves around. I still have my Flex as a backup but I’ve thought about getting another Method as a backup because I like it so much.

Thanks Dobby. BTW it got to 39 below the other morning. Still want to come to MT and hunt? LOL

Well reading through this made me purchase a method saddle. Thanks for getting me all worked up folks! Guess a new stick purchase will wait until next year!

Joking aside, I think this thing will be a vast improvement over my current kestrel setup. Once I put it through its paces I‘m betting that kestrel shows up in the classifieds. Already wondering what the market value of an entire kestrel setup would be? Talk about counting chickens before they hatch!
