Latitude Method or Recon sling

I will be purchasing me one next year for sure. Glad you like yours and everybody on here that deals with the Mark guy has great things to say. I like to do business with people like that. Good luck this season!!

I have to add that the Evo would eventual ride up and take my pants up with it. I would need to pull it back down and adjust my pants at the same time. The only time I would need to adjust the Recon was because I was changing between sitting, leaning or sitting side saddle and it never once messed with my pants. Its definitely an awesome upgrade to my hunting arsenal.

I am currently in the same boat, trying to decide between the method and the recon. First thanks for this post it helped give me some perspective and I think I am almost ready to pull the trigger on the recon. Do you think you will ever try the method or are you comfortable enough in the recon that it’s not even a consideration?

I am comfortable enough with the Recon that I will not be returning it, so while I would still like to try out and compare the two I will not be buying the Method. The Recon is an awesome, light little saddle that can be easily thrown in your pack if you don't want to wear it in. I am happy enough to justify not spending an extra $270 on the Method.

Funny story from today...when I got down from the tree I got everything packed up and walked a ways out when I noticed I was still wearing the Recon, I wouldn't even noticed it but I needed to lace up my boots.

Its not really a fair comparison. The Recon and Latitude are 2 different creatures. The Latitude is just a 2 piece saddle...each section is basically "stand alone".
The Recon is 2 piece but each section works and adjusts in conjunction with the other section.
These 2 saddles do not work in the same way as each other.
The concept of the original Anderson was pure genius, but it lacked an active bridge or lineman loops. The Recon continues this concept of genius and it also has a bridge that meets our modern needs and it has the linemans loops too.
