Alright guys after months of scouring over reviews of these I still can't make my mind up. I'm 5'10" and 150 lbs. Which one do I get?

Cruzr XC! But I’m biased because that’s what I have :)

The XC has everything I need - buckles for all straps, adjustable bridge, expansion chamber for comfort, two rows of molle, rides nice, feels super secure...

One downside I see to the method is the leg straps go loose once you adjust the panels around. I never had the method but I tried an ESS and I disliked the way that happens with two-panels. I personally like the added safety of leg straps but don’t want them bunching up and getting in the way.

My 2 cents but I don’t think you’ll go wrong either way! Best of luck.

I’ve had both, 5’7”, 150 lbs and I ran the method almost all season and will be hard to find another. I have the buckle versions but I did a diy metal less conversion and never wear the leg straps, no need for them. It’s just more comfortable for me, the cruzr was a close second though. They’re both great saddles.
Walking in: method wins, both are same for putting on/off but the method is quieter.putting the panels together is comparable to closing the pleat and I have dump pouches on my method. Method is quieter though with metal free version.
leaning/sitting: method wins again for me, with the 2 panel design you always have back support so you can go between both positions without adjusting panels at least for me.
I one stick and rappel, the method is far more comfortable for this IMO and I’ve never felt like I needed the leg straps I don’t use.

That was another thing I wanted to put in there. I'm interested in comfort only. I'm not a fan of the leg straps so most like wont use them on either and I wont be walking in with it on.

I had the exact same dilemma. I'm a little shorter than you but same weight. I just got a method and sat in it for the first time on Saturday. I can't imagine anything being more comfortable. Sitting was amazing. Leaning was amazing. So much adjustability. Reading the posts above made me realize that for the first time I didn't even think about the leg straps (I usually like the extra piece of mind from them). I did have them on but I completely forgot about them in the tree. I don't think you can go wrong either way. If you've got the funds, I'd say buy both and then resell or even return the method if you don't like it.

If you haven’t sat in either and are just going off of reviews and other’s comments, you have a 50% chance that you are going to pick the best one for you. Find some guys in your area that have them and try them out before buying and make your decision from there. The saddle hunter map is a good way to find guys / gals in your area.

There both Great companies.
Have used both

Sitter or Leaner =XC

Leaner =Method

Im using the Method metal free as I’m a leaner.
I walk in wearing saddle and found this has less bulk of the 2.

At your size the latitude would be almost impossible to beat. The reason people say that the cruzr is better than the latitude for sitting is due to the method having less material for your rump. But at 150 that isn't really going to apply to you.

I can't see any downsides in getting the method.

Sold my cruzr xc and got a method. Couldn't deal with the diaper feeling of the XC, and it was so bulky it was a pain to even stuff into my pack.

I’ve sat in both and prefer the cruzr xc. I like how the method feels walking in, but I’ve learned not to use the leg loops on the cruzr when walking in and you don’t get the diaper feeling. I don’t think you can go wrong with either, it’s all personal preference.
