Latitude Method - What Are The Double D-Rings For?

Saddle collector here with a question that's gnawing at me.

On both the tether and lineman's ropes provided with my Latitude Method saddle, there's this little double d-ring thing.

I'm very curious what it's used for. Anyone?

Pics would be swell.


On another note - Just like Cruzr, Latitude provides zero in the way of formal instruction materials. Just links to cheesy youtube videos, which I regard as significantly inadequate.

Kudos to Tethrd and Trophyline, btw, both of whom provide fully adequate instructional material.
 
I assume you are referring to the prusik tender? It helps with one handed adjustment when shortening your line.
