Who all has tried the x-wing?
I love the concept! After getting to hunt with it on the TN velvet hunt, and a couple weeks testing, I feel I have a good grasp on the execution. Check it out. Link

Great review! The only thing I would say is mine could you some edge break/deburr, especially on the post, I've played with amsteel on it, and it shows, the amsteel is frayed a bit. While there's no burr, it's around 90° sharp and that's hard on straps/cordage/whatever.

I would agree it could be better. But i've had products from other companies in the past that were worse. I would love to see some minor tweaks

Got a simple fix for the button placement. Makes it a lot more stable no toe hooking needed just push down and set. Might have to set twice to get slack out. Just pass your strap through the post under the web behind the button then hook on button. Gets strap alittle lower and locks up great.
