So this will be my first year saddle hunting and as you can imagine I'm still trying to figure everything out. I have the basics down and have been doing pretty good so far. I came out this morning to check some trail cameras and test out my ROS vs my platform (or perhaps a combo fo both). Anywho, as I was dangling, relaxing and reading SH, my foot bumped the cam buckle for my ROS and there i was, feet sliding down the tree. 2 things, I was only 6ft off the ground, and most importantly, my climbing stick was where I could get to it sans ROS. I have now realized that no matter what method I use, my sticks will not be far from my feet (they actually make a decent foot placement as well. Anyways, hope this slight snafu helps someone.
