I hear from longtime saddle guys that the old leather trophyline was awesome. Now trophyline is offering a limited run of a leather saddle. I figured what the heck let’s make one. I will hunt out of it tonight. Crossing my fingers I don’t hit the ground at a high rate of speed.

Leather will hold up just as well or better than anything else.. assuming you sewed the actual webbing portions the same. Biggest difference will be weight, I suspect. I bet it will be really comfortable for longer sits though.
 
Comfort is all is all that matters to me . I wonder how it feels. I think @huck72412 loved those saddles.
