Leather vs. Neoprene Tree Saddle?

I just bought a like new Trophyline Ambush Tree Saddle (leather).

I was hoping to get the pros/cons of a leather vs. neoprene tree saddle from any experienced saddle hunters? I've searched a few websites that mentioned the leather breathes better in early season? I'm concerned that scent is a greater factor for leather vice neoprene?

Also - any advice on how to take care of leather vs. neoprene is absolutely appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't know that there is much difference, although I have only hunted from the neoprene model. The neoprene is supposedly warmer to wear and likely sheds moisture better.

I haven't used the leather one but it is lighter than the neoprene model. I liked my neoprene model for comfort but it was a bit bulkier than when i switched to the mesh version.
