Lessons Learned 2022

There is truth in the saying ounces make pounds and pounds make pain but there is also an appropriate weight for your system to be optimal for you. Whatever that weight is is the right weight. Clean eating and consistent exercise will improve performance more than amsteel mesh underwear.
That’s part of my goal this year of getting in better shape before season. I hunted a lot of hill country and I was really sucking mud in the beginning of the season

The cable aiders if they’re not too long seem excellent. I used them all season a LOT. The WEBBING aiders I’d throw away. Total junk and a death trap

I learned again how easily you can get picked off late season. Had 4 doe's between 12-17 yards and moved the bow about 3 inches to get in shooting position and covey busted them. Thought they all finally had their heads down but I guess the one didnt. Didnt blow up completely but flared out to about 35 yards and then fed off.
