How are you wrapping them? Mine have been used hard since day one and are still doing fine. The back side will wear against the tree pretty much instantly, but they don't make noise.Trying to get some ideas on squirrel step mods. I really like them. Any bed liner sprays etc. I haven’t had a lot of luck with the vet wrap holding up. Let me know what you all are doing.
I knew the back would wear off based on your videos. Where my feet sit the wrap wants to “slide off”. Just curious if there were other ideas out there. Maybe I’ll throw a coat on tonight before bed.I wrapped mine as tight as I could and put multiple layers on them.
I have used stealth strips before and did not like them. They eventually peel (like everything) and when they do they are a pain to clean and redo. Vet wrap can be cut off and easily reapplied.
If you decide to coat them, they should take it very well, since they are bead blasted. Let me know how they turn out!
Nice! How many hunts do you think you have on those?
It really depends on the tree for me. Even if they are not “rock” solid they are still plenty solid for me I feel perfectly confident with themI do too! There perfect for how I hunt, I just need to get better at setting them solid
Ok they look great! Think I’ll give that a shot. Don’t really wanna spray them bed liner if I don’t have too. I have large shrink tubing at work that I considered as well.I got them after my season here closed in NH. But I’ve been practicing and doing test sits all winter so I’ve probably got about 15-20 hours on them.
