Predator XL on the front straps and three one sticks on the bottom straps. Carrys very well. I usually have artic shield boot covers, Stratus coat, and puffy in the main compartment, and I’ll strap my bibs to the side straps if I decide not to wear them in.

Trophyline edp on front straps, tethrd skeletors on the side. The pack carry the setup great. I go in with saddle on, sometimes bino harness will be on. Main compartment holds extra layers, kill kit, some markers, calls, and the bino harness whenever I don't wear it inScreenshot_20221018-185226_Gallery.jpg

We’re 40 miles in and I really have had no complaints with the pack as far as comfort goes. That said I’m only carrying about 22-26 lbs. I bought a rain cover for the pack for this trip and I can’t believe how long I went without one. I’ll definitely be keeping it handy for hunting. 58099D50-77E3-4115-82A0-574BC04B5245.jpeg

I'm using the 1800 as a minimalist type pack. The frame size is perfect for me to strap things to. Not a ton of storage, but that was the point. Just as well made as my 7200 cu from them.

Has anyone hauled meat in the venture 2300? Has anyone been able to attach the venture 2300 to a frame pack to carry a little more weight?

just seeing this. You did 7 days with 2300 ci? You must be an efficient packer.
Yessir. 38L was plenty, but maxed out. The hiking we did was not remote it was from village to village so we stayed in hostels and little hotels along the way. 80 miles with 25 lbs. half of that space was my sleeping bag. I’m just not sure how well a bag of deboned meat would fit in it. I really live the features of this pack, I’d be tempted to pick up one the kuiu frames. That’s what has me turning on another unnecessary pack purchase.
