Looking for a new pair of binoculars that are light weight and i don't need the cream of the crop, just something to see in the swamp one or two hundred yards. I'm tired of the 1.5 lb pair I have currently.

Any suggestions?

I went with 8x32 Diamondbacks and love them.

Vortex warranty is top notch.

8x32s of the best quality you can afford

I'm thinking about doing an 8x or even a 6x my 10x are to much for bow hunting and I'm sure its added weight I don't need being I barely use them for being to strong for a thicket. Now rifle season.... That's another animal

Its almost like optics companies don't care about being lightweight. Am I wrong about that?

8x32 cabelas euro HD binos are really good, they are meopta meostars with cabelas branding.

Meopta also came put with a cheaper bino line that are probably good also.

I own these. They are tiny and super-light. But you're going to give up some low light ability in exchange for the tiny profile. https://www.amazon.com/Vortex-Optic...ywords=8x26+binos&psc=1&qid=1571850880&sr=8-2

x2 this is the one I carry in my pack all the time - you can see even in timber well past shooting hours (within reasonable hunting distances 100 yards or so right at last light). Diamondbacks are just a little bit more and a little bit better - their top of the line Razors UHD are phenomenal

Leupold Yosemite 6x by 30. By far the best! Lightest, compact binos. I am a still Hunter. These are indespensible for peering way down through the brush and bramble. 8x is too much. Shot a Colorado bull in his bed by threading the Needle with my .280 for a 100 yard neck shot. All I could see. The bull could not even be seen with the naked eye. Many deer have met there demise the same way.
