Lineman rope used as gear hanger

Has anyone used their lineman rope as their gear hanger instead of using a gear strap? I’ve always kept my lineman belt girth hitched to my saddle permanently. I’m thinking about doing this to streamline my system. I’d girth hitch to the tree and use the distel hitch with the carabiner for my pack. That way I can adjust the pack where I want it. Then use the heroclip for my bow and small carabiners for accessories. I’m sure someone has already thought of this and seems simple.

I hang my pack and quiver from my spare LB/tether. Bow hangs from a hook that may or may not screw into the tree I just never cared for the strap gear hangers.
