LIVE from SaddlePalooza 2019

Ricky should hopefully be good by now, got some tools to him and a trip to O’reilly for a jack and a new hub... front right side bearing was shot! Just rattling around.

We thought. It was the bearing at the end of the housing. The brake line broke when I took the caliper off. Oriley closed and I’m still screwed! Bwahahahaha all you can do is laugh!

Made it home a few mins ago. Had a great time, got some good stories to tell, glad to meet y’all and hang out over some good food and cold beers and camp fires. Boy I got a lot of video to go through over the next few days

It can always get worse. Hope you get everything straight today.

Oh it did. I broke the brake line taking the caliper off. We bought the wrong part.

Not sure if what I did was even legal but it was definitely stupid but
I threw the axle in back of the truck put the old hub back in. Put a vice grip on the old brake line and drove that sucker over the mountain home! At my last gas fill up I started the truck and I think I blew a spark plug. I didn’t check I just drove home. Heck it may be a rod knock not sure, at that point I didn’t care I was 30 min from home.
Saddleplooza gets more and more expensive every year!

Went straight through Calhoun Ga , Chattanooga TN, over Monteagle and in to Nashville last night. Never saw the purple beast but I was looking. Good that you made it.

I’m glad that vise grip held, made me nervous thinking about you coming down the mountain.

There’s an alarming lack of rust on that old truck! Never see that in the mitten state unless you just drove it off the new car lot.

Glad your McGyver skills are solid enough to get you home.

Yup like I said, everyone in the rust belt can’t get over how clean our southern trucks are. As long as they aren’t covered, or stuck, in mud...

Yeah, this is what they look like up here...there's no working on them on the side of the road unless you brought an impact, MAPP torch, and a gallon of pb blaster...2019-02-19 15.33.24.jpg
