IMG_7495.JPG Was hoping to try the Kestrel today, but my cousin wanted to go so we had to hunt a different part of the river, with ground blinds, turkey chair & netting. Rain just passed, wind switched from north, acorns are falling.

As much as I like the saddle and the tree it would be nice to just walk in sometime and have a seat.

This is like the jerry springer show. Someone does something heinous then brags about it. Lol. Good luck.

Ha! Had a herd of does spook by shifting wind. Got up & scouted and set up closer to bedding area. 3 fresh rubs, nice tracks, rut doesn't start around here till just before Christmas. Drilled the forked tree. Now I got 2 Kestrel setups.

Man you go for it! With the time change I actually have time to go hunting in the mornings before work so I am...(dare I say it) hunting from the ground as well...but I maximize my time and I can cover alot of ground scouting out potential spots for the weekend! Aint no shame to that game! Good luck!
