Great job, glad you found him!

Did leaves all morning. Got the ok to go out for a couple hour sit before dark. Then our 2 year old skipped her nap (normal occurrence). I offered to stay and help out, 1 cause I'm a good dad :D, 2 because it scored me some extra points and I mentioned that next week when I'm off starting on Saturday I'm going to be hunting all day everyday until thanksgiving :D

I just tell my wife the way it's gonna be. Then I load my hunting stuff in the truck and hit the road.

This little fork got a pass. It was fun to watch him interact with the decoy.

Getting down from my tree was an adventure. I wasn't thinking and lowered my backpack down with my spurs and repelling rope inside. When it hit the ground, they rolled down away from my tree.

So there I sat on my platform with no way to get down. I thought I was going to have to call my wife to have her tie my spikes onto my rope so I could pull them up and climb down.

I ended up taking my line man's rope and clipping it around the tree and tying a loop in the loose end. Then using my improvised aider, I single sticked my way down the tree. It was tedious, but I was always tied in so I never felt in danger.

Back up in the same tree I had that 8 all around on Friday. Hoping for him to walk by again.
There’s a huge family of rats running crazy under me. Just enough light to start seeing them dart to and fro.
