Hello all, I've been watching these forums for a while now and have been wanting to get into saddle hunting for a few years now. I live in Michigan and only hunt state land here in the thumb. I'm looking for a light weight setup due to getting older and rounder and am tired of carrying heavy equipment into the nasty areas I hunt. I don't really wanna spend the big $ on a manufactured setup without knowing I'll like hunting from a saddle or not. Keep the ideas coming with all your home made versions and thanks for all the insight I've gotten so far from these forums.

Hey ma1979!

Fellow Michigander from just south in St Clair County. If you want to try out an aerohunter evolution id be happy to meet up some time and let you try it out. I actually visit caseville a couple of times a year in the summer and then again in the fall. If you're interested PM me and I'd be happy to introduce you to saddle hunting!
