New to the site. I’m a long time saddle hunter. I’d love to post a pic of a good buck I shot out of my saddle. Aparenty it’s too large to post here☹️
 
Nice buck! Welcome from SE Michigan (Lapeer county).
 
Quick story about the buck in the pic.
I scouted the back section of a 60 acre swamp and found some scrapes. The only tree that would work was a oak that was about 18” at the base. At about 18’ I setup the ROS. I found the scrapes on Oct 13. On Oct 15 I killed him on an evening hunt. If it wasn’t for my saddle I wouldn’t have killed this buck.
