Can you hunt black bear where these pics where taken? Here in Louisiana we have a sub species “ Louisiana swamp bear” and they are on the endangered species list. We can’t even harass them, but we have a ridiculous number of these over grown raccoons on our lease. They destroy any type of feeder, chew any wooden stands, eat all the Atv seats and generally destroy whatever they want with no fear of repercussions.

Yes. The season for us opens up Veterans Day weekend with our boom stick season for deer.
