Good morning Everyone. I have a question foe anyone who has been a member of this site for a while. I know there are many way to attach your climbing gear to a tree but, I'm looking for a specific method that I saw on here but now cant remember what the thread was named. So I'll explain what I remember form the threads and a video. The guy was using either a or a strap. He didn't use a buckle or anything to tighten the rope. However, what he did to tighten up his rope was to use a piece of an old arrow shaft and stuck it between the tree and the rope then simply turn the arrow shaft until the rope was tight. Does anyone remember who that was or what the thread was called?

Sounds like this is probably it. There was another thread or two but @Samcirrus is the guy who brought it to us
