Looking for late season Parka and Bib recommendations.

This is the year I'll finally upgrade my late season cold weather gear!! Well, that's what I said last year... Now I really need to make it happen. I'm in the market for a new pair of cold season bibs and parka. I really want something that is warm, quiet, water proof (or at least water resistant) and if it has Scent Lok that's a plus. I'd like to have bibs that have full zippers all the way up the sides so I can easily put them on with muddy boots. They also need a front zipper for when nature calls. I really need to try and keep the purchase to under $600 for the bibs and parka so Sitka gear is probably out of the question. I have really good base layers so no need to upgrade those. I'm looking for suggestions on what brands or specific styles to look for. Any suggestions are appreciated and hopefully I can finally pull the trigger this October before the cold weather gets here.

Best jacket I own. Bonus that it’s orange for late-season firearms overlap with archery. Hood is removable, mine lives in the Tupperware until bitter winds. The collar comes up high and there’s so much storage you might not need more than a fanny pack. DOUBLE BONUS: two-way zipper so you can keep your upper half covered and unzip the bottom to allow access to your saddle loops and bibs’ zippers.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'd prefer to stay away from the hunters orange. I'll check out what camo options they have.

Id look at First Lite Solitude or Sanctuary, depending on temp range you will be hunting in. It would be pretty easy to find a used pair of Sanctuary for under $600

I might add first lite has carbon technology since you mentioned wanting scent lok

Also first lite had great sales late last November. You could buy sanctuary bibs and a coat for under $600

Check out Natural Gear products. They have great stuff and it’s really affordable. I’ve had the same outfit for 15 years.

The First Lite stuff looks really nice. I'll have to start watching for some sales or maybe get lucky and find someone wanting to sell a like new set.

Rivers West Ambush jacket and bib. Stays well under your budget. Warm as can be with Sherpa lining. Waterproof. I love mine!

I've heard good things about Rivers West gear. Great quality is what I was told. The parka looks really nice but I'm not sold on the bibs. They only have 18" zippers going up the leg.

If you have facebook, check out the first lite buying/selling page. Ive seen several sanctuary sets on there. Solitude just came out, so they are harder to find.

Thanks! I just took a look but didn't see anything my size (Medium). I'll continue to keep an eye on it.

Thanks but I think I'm looking for something a little nicer than $20 bibs...
