Looking to buy a saddle to try hunting. I am a larger individual I have a 48 waist and I weigh 330 pounds and am 6'1. Is there any saddle that someone would recommend for larger individuals. I see aero hunter goes to 46" and I was tempted to try that saddle but willing to looks at any other suggestions.

6ft 260lbs here. Aero has a 350lb "comfort" rating. Most everything in climbing will support your weight it's just a matter of comfort. I have a kestrel hunter flex and it is comfortable for the ~4 hour sits I normally do. The biggest hurdle in my saddle hunting game is getting all 260lbs of me up to hunting height, the rest is a cake walk.

Run away. Run fast, keep running, don't look back. Say good bye to all your money, ALL OF IT.

I haven't been this anxious for season to start in a long time. I feel like a hunting virgin and Oct 3rd is prom. I am 6'3" about 250. I have a TX5 saddle, and love it. I haven't hunted in it yet, but have spent a lot of time in the tree in the backyard. I tried going the RCH/sit drag route. The hip pinch set in about 5 minutes.
Where are you located? Look for some people around you to try out their saddles first. I did it blind and bought a lot of stuff I didn't/don't need.
